To think this was really weird?

Got in a lift in a shop this morning and a couple had just walked in before me.

The woman pressed their floor number then stood infront of the buttons.

I said excuse me and gestured towards the buttons and she said "already pressed it".

I said I know but you pressed floor 1 and I need to get out at floor G.

She shrugged at me, and refused to move over.

The man said "the lady wants to press her floor"

The woman said "well she can press it when we get out then"

Some very difficult people in this world...

I'd have barged her out of the way.

Bloody hell what a weird thing for her to be such a rude twat over!

Mind you, she's lucky she doesn't live where I do- if she'd tried that trick, she'd likely have been stabbed by someone...

YANBU.

I can't decide which I would do - reach around her (even if she has pressed up against the buttons) and press it anyway leaving her feeling really uncomfortable or stand in the entrance to the lift so when it gets to her floor say that I am waiting for the ground floor so I can't move until then.

If I am feeling particularly annoyed I would probably do both.

I honestly think she would've end up on the other side of the lift.
