no, perfectly reasonable. I'm sure they would have dragged the mud in if they'd got the chance .

Just like I am not going to apologise to dh for yelling at him for the tissue in the wash that had actually come out of my jeans pocket.

rabbleraiser · 19/05/2007 14:40

No, moomim. Say nothing.

And are you sure it was you??

beansprout · 19/05/2007 14:41

They'll do these things at some point and get away with it, so it all comes out in the wash (maybe not the tissue though)

moominmumma · 19/05/2007 14:42

well im not entirely sure, i mean yes my boots had mud caked in the grooves, but whos to say it was my mud from my boots, someone must take the blame!!

As long as no-one else realises it was you, why apologise!

Carmenere · 19/05/2007 14:47

If you had made them clean it up then yes but as you probably have to clean it up I'd say no.

moominmumma · 19/05/2007 14:47

my lips are sealed!

moominmumma · 19/05/2007 14:48

i cleaned it up, as usual! so dam them all they can all get a butt whooping because they might have dragged mud in!!!

Always apologise, but never split infinitives. It works for me.

Chandra · 19/05/2007 15:33

You don't know why you have shouted to them but they will...

They haven't defended themselves, did they?
