To have sent DH back to spare room? (Kind of light hearted)

We have a new baby and DH generally sleeps in spare room (he is back at work albeit not tomorrow due to bank holiday and I breastfeed)

Little one is wonderful but not the best sleeper and wakes every hour or half an hour after the initial two-three hour sleep

Said goodnight to DH when we both went to bed at ten (he is a little drunk) but he woke me up at eleven for cuddles

Am very grateful for DH as he means the world to me and I’m lucky I have him for cuddles but AIBU for being frustrated for having sleep curtailed? He has gone back to spare room but we have exchanged love you messages! Can’t sleep now as feel like I will be woken by baby soon

Am getting about 3 hours sleep at night at the moment and just lost 45 mins of it 😭 need to turn phone off and try counting sheep to get some more before baby wakes

Even when he’s being lovely I can’t see my dog as anything but a sleep thief. Then he lays snoring with his useless nipples whilst I try to persuade dd to sleep 😭😭

That is bad behaviour from him. Give him the baby with a bottle of expressed milk at 6am? You need more sleep than this, you will stop thinking he is so lovely soon if you don’t get it!

I got a little less sleep than that with my first, and it isn’t enough. If he’s sleeping all night he needs to take the baby first thing, and let you catch up - no trouble to bring the baby back when hungry and then give you another couple of hours.
