I know I'm not Grin

Yesterday dh went overseas for work and the younger two dds are at camp. Oldest dd is still at uni. So for 30 hours I've been by myself. Such a luxury!
I've been to an antiques fair, done some clothes shopping and browsing, done some gardening, watched tv, had a bath with the door open, prepared meals only for me, gone to work to finish a few bits without needing to be telling anyone when I would be back and what would happen next. I am currently sitting mumsnetting in a very sunny museum gardens in york with a plan to go to evensong at the Minster shortly. This is blissful!
Obviously I will be thrilled to get the kids back tomorrow but I have enjoyed this. I love being by myself

Envy I love being by myself too. It doesn't happen anywhere near often enough.

YANBU. I wish my family would leave me alone for 30 hours. Enjoy!

Went for a lovely bike ride after evensong. Now cup of tea and a cake. The only downside is that the cat is unimpressed by the disappearance of her family and she's not talking to me.
