Who is being unreasonable?

I've been ill for quite a long time and my DH has been the main carer for 5yo DS.
DS has lots of lovely new clothes for the summer that I ordered online, the problem is that DH only dresses him in football kits! It makes me wince every time! I don't want my DS to grow into a man who only wears lycra!
What are your thoughts?

Or is it because a football kit is a coordinating top and bottoms therefore no thinking required? (My dad dressed my brother in pj sets a few times for this reason Hmm)
