Many moons ago, Israel was one of the first for gender equality in the armed forces, they had national service, women were deployed to the front line. It was found to be ineffectively simply if a woman got shot/injured, men would down tools and attend her, where as if a male colleague suffered the same, it would a healthy dollop of "you ok mate?help is coming" and keep on shooting.
The Met Police had similar issues back in the 70's with putting WPCs out on the frontline. Now we've managed to beat the manners and chivalry out of men in the name of equality, it's not an issue. So always a silver lining if you look for it.
