Good quality British food is always going to be my number one.
Followed by Italian and Thai

CadyHeron · 26/05/2018 20:29

Definitely Indian and Thai.

SnookieSnooks · 26/05/2018 20:30

Like @ArtBrut - Lebanese and South Indian.

But tbh, I like any good food.

TalkinPeece · 26/05/2018 20:33

Lebanese
whenever I'm in Brighton I go to Lakash and just LOVE it
or Greek
or Italian

Elledouble · 26/05/2018 20:35

Indian, then Japanese, then Thai.

I could happily never eat British food for the rest of my life. Can’t even remember the last time I cooked anything like a pie or a roast.

megletthesecond · 26/05/2018 20:37

Italian.

MsGameandWatching · 26/05/2018 20:41

Japanese or Thai.

BitchQueen90 · 26/05/2018 20:44

Indian. One of DS's school friends is Indian and the mum makes the most amazing home made food. Heaven!

StuntEgg · 26/05/2018 20:47

French, Scots-French and Italian. Some Spanish.

I'm curious to know what posters who have said "British" mean by this. All I can imagine is white soup and the horrors of Mrs. Beeton's cook book!

foxyloxy78 · 26/05/2018 20:50

Basque cuisine. The most delicious food ever. Fish is fantastic. Any pinxos too.

WittyJack · 26/05/2018 20:51

StuntEgg - Yorkshire puddings and proper pies and delicate, light foods like that!

BonnieF · 26/05/2018 20:58

Indian.

So many endlessly interesting regional flavours. If I had to choose, the cuisine of Gujarat which is undoubtedly the best vegetarian food in the world, would be my favourite, closely followed by the fiery seafood based dishes of Kerala.

I’ll always love a delicious Punjabi biryani or samosa, though. Smile

doctorcuntybollocks · 26/05/2018 21:07

For cooking at home: Greek.

For eating at a restaurant: Indian.

BillyAndTheSillies · 26/05/2018 21:09

It's a tie between Japanese, Vietnamese or Lebanese

CadyHeron · 26/05/2018 21:18

It'll be stuff like Yorkshire puddings/Sunday dinner, hotpots, shepherds pie, meat and two veg type dishes Smile

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 26/05/2018 21:46

I need to give a shout out to jollof rice my colleague cooks it for me.yum

Tatiebee · 26/05/2018 21:48

I love Spanish food: pork cheeks, paella, tapas etc

StuntEgg · 26/05/2018 21:49

Thanks for enlightening me WittyJack and CadyHeron!

I've never really had that sort of food so wasn't sure - I imagine in Scotland mince and tatties comes closest to it!

Think it could be perhaps re-labelled English cuisine though...Grin

HunterofStars · 26/05/2018 21:55

I also like Greek, Cypriot and German food too.

CadyHeron · 26/05/2018 21:56

Aw man, I forgot about Mexican!! Love that too.
Totally showing my ignorance now, but what type of dishes do you get with Lebanese food? Don't think I've ever had that!

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 26/05/2018 22:02

Colleague made me Tabbouleh, it was amazing

burblish · 26/05/2018 22:26

Indian all the way - but proper, home cooked food (my mum’s!!), not your bog standard curry house fare. Best vegetarian food in the world by a country mile.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 26/05/2018 22:27

Feel free send your mum round to me with some paneer

donutsdearest · 26/05/2018 22:28

Scottish
Indian
Greek
Italian
Actually all the food
