To think 'boys just being boys' is not a good enough response to someone being taped to a chair and gagged?

A woman was taped to a chair and her mouth covered with tape at her workplace and when she raised it with her manager, was told it was probably "the boys just being boys".
Wtf?

If you think this thread is going to prejudice legal action then report it. Otherwise this is a discussion forum. Trying to shut down discussion by throwing out cheap insults is bullying behaviour.

On my company if anyone taped a colleague to a chair whether in the name of banter or bullying the best they could hope to get away with is a final warning. Quite likely they would be dismissed for gross misconduct.

I'm from that area and I'd be willing to bet the local gossip is not being kind to her.
