Federalist 69:
Hamilton's argument includes that the president is liable to be impeached and then if convicted, to be removed from office and later to be prosecuted under the course of law.
I wonder if/how a failure to convict after impeachment undermines further federal/state prosecution?

The most amazing aspect of where Melania is, is that there are no leaks, apparently. Which makes me wonder if even WH staff know where she is

Lweji I remember reading a week or two ago that there was a pact between the WH and the media not to speak of Melania’s absence. They know the reason behind it, but out of respect for her are not harping on about it as much as you would expect. Now, don’t quote me on this as my memory is suspect, but it has dredged up something like that.

The only special relationship T. has is with himself. Surely Macron is not that naïve about T's true character:
