to think that teenagers are incapable of doing anything on time

Getting up, getting their school stuff ready, getting their socks on etc etc
So far it is 90 minutes since my teen was told that we are going out (for his benefit but essential) and he is still prevaricating. This happens every single time we need to leave the house.

It's driving me insane. How do you cope?

It's not all teenagers. My older two are not like that at all but I know my ds 9 is like this now and probably will be in adolescence too!

Thank goodness for that - can we swap for one that isn't?!

Nope - mine are 15 and 17 and are fine - now.

though Blush we went out without the eldest once - for a nice meal and the cinema, because she wasn't ready when we were and had given her 2 hours of fair warning. She is never late now, often early even!
