To want to shout about my new bras from the rooftops?!

THANK YOU to whoever it was who told me about the boob or bust method on here a few months ago. For YEARS I've been wearing a 38G as I was told that's what I was in M&S. I knew it wasn't right, my back isn't 38 inches and if I bent over I'd get the hideous double boob

Measured myself using boob or bust and came out as a 32J or 34JJ. Went for 34JJ and ordered a load of Curvy Kate and Flirtelle bras in the brastop sale. They arrived about an hour ago and I've just been prancing around with the mum tum flying in all directions in my new bras. I feel AMAZING. They're comfortable, they manage to lift up my (huge) boobs and not make them look saggy, they look GOOD.

So it turns out I'm two back sizes and FIVE cup sizes (GG, H, I, J, JJ) bigger than I was previously wearing! No wonder I always had bloody back pain.

Just wanted to shout about it for all the women in the back who haven't tried it yet, or still trust in the outdated method M&S and a few other places use.

It may well be that you actually need a 28FF, or at least a 30F or 30E.

It's more likely that the 32 and 34 bras are basically just sitting there covering your boobs, rather than supporting them.

I wore a 36B for years believing it was the right size. Even when I had to buy bra extenders and got extra padding to make my small boobs look better, as far as I was concerned, they fitted perfectly.

I completely dismissed the BOB size of 32F. I even proved that it was wrong by trying on a few in-between sizes. I proved that an F cup was far too big by trying on a 34F and I proved that a 32 band was too small by trying on a 32D. I really didn't understand how it worked.

I read more and more on the BOB page and realised that when I wore a 36B, the underwires were sitting away from my boobs, the gore wasn't sitting flat against me and if I pulled all of my (small) boobs into the cup, they really were spilling over.

I eventually went and tried on several 32F. They didn't all fit. Sometimes styles I needed a 34E But the difference was amazing. I love my new bras and my small boobs look better than ever.

People really need to get away from this idea of what size a cup is. The belief that a B cup is small and an F cup is big is just nonsense.

The cup volume of a 36B is bigger than a 28D.
The cup volume of a 38C is bigger than a 28C.
The cup volume of a 38B is the same as a 28G.

Your 28F boobs may fit in a 36C bra, but the bra is not supporting them at all.

I've just gone from a 32e to 30g! But I'm not sure if I did the boob or bust right so could be a 30ff

To a 36JJ

That's 2 bands down and SIX cup sizes up...

To be fair I sort of knew my cup size I was wearing was too small because I had gone up band sizes to try to find bras I could fit my boobs into (on the high street) and the cup sizes just stop at E most of the time. But still. I had NO idea I was that far out.

Am ordering myself a couple (even though it's a bit terrifying) from brastop I will report back as soon as I get them and have a chance to ☺️

Lweji I am a bit surprised as those pictures do look like the size of my boobs. Once I can walk again I will go to the shops I think. Will be very shocked though if that's my size.

@Barbaro brastop and boux Avenue have very good sales on at the moment! I've ordered a 30FF and a 30G just to see. Can always return one of them!
