Cady please can you answer why you only ever seem to pipe up when it’s MoD that is mentioned? No other account piques your interest like hers. She gets mentioned you’re here, she isn’t mentioned for a while, you’re quiet, she gets mentioned again, and bingo you are back. What is it about her that gets you posting so frequently?

sparklefluff · 23/05/2018 17:02

I think it's to do with profile visits @kirinm.

The higher the traffic is, the more you can command as an Ad, or, the more popular you can become if you've not reached the realms of freebies.

If you hashtag, you can become a popular hashtag and have your very own following.

CadyHeron · 23/05/2018 17:02

ABuck - I've been on the thread's even when she hasn't been mentioned so not entirely what your point is there.

SugarBunker · 23/05/2018 17:06

I've noticed all the big instagrammers always add their own name as a hashtag on their post. Anyone know why?

Narcissism.

Don't worry guys, it's about to all start being pointed at mumsnet again.

Sigh.

PunsandNeedles · 23/05/2018 17:08

Kirinm you can search by # now, that's why

Oddish · 23/05/2018 17:08

What makes you say that sparkle?

There was an event that people went to, and some that did posted on here.

They have been screen grabbed and it's being discussed that the comments on the actual post were to the IG's face, and on here, it's behind her back. And that they are shockingly obviously negative.

Sigh. Again.

PunsandNeedles · 23/05/2018 17:12

Sparkle MN is anonymous so why do you care? Increased traffic for MN and IG they don't care

PavlovaPrincess · 23/05/2018 17:13

How is this behind anyone's back? It's public for all to read Confused

@sparklefluff is it the WS thing?

Oddish · 23/05/2018 17:13

Oh man, on the event holders page?

Atalune · 23/05/2018 17:14

WS?

sparklefluff · 23/05/2018 17:16

@PavlovaPrincess sorry, you've lost me?

EatMyShoes · 23/05/2018 17:16

She obviously never read the bits on the threads where people explain why they come here to make negative comments instead of on IG

Oddish · 23/05/2018 17:16

Just seen WS stories, do people really run and tell her or was she reading the threads? And can’t she see that people aren’t always comfortable to give anything other than gushing feedback on Instagram? I don’t think the comments on here were that bad, she’s shooting herself in the foot bringing them to attention. Although it’ll all be support and hunning and anything else will get blocked/deleted.

sparklefluff · 23/05/2018 17:18

I was about to add that I thought the WS discussions were on the whole honest that she planned an event herself and it's wasn't for only special instacelebs and anyone could go, and that was actually a good thing?
I remember 2 negative comments which were vastly ignored.

sparklefluff · 23/05/2018 17:19

Sorry for the @PavlovaPrincess, I meant to ask @PunsandNeedles what was meant by that comment

Oddish · 23/05/2018 17:20

It’s the latest bandwagon though isn’t it? Let’s all jump on mumsnet ‘bullies’ and not actually read for full context or engage in any discussion. 🙄🙄🙄

kirinm · 23/05/2018 17:23

People really seem to struggle with anything other than adoration don't they?

PunsandNeedles · 23/05/2018 17:25

Atalune Wee slice

PavlovaPrincess · 23/05/2018 17:28

@kirinm yes, they do.

And who's going to give negative feedback under their own or IG name when they might end up on an Instastory and be subjected to a load of abuse from the bloggers fangirls?

EatMyShoes · 23/05/2018 17:31

They proclaim to be running businesses but they can't take any negative feedback at all. Those comments could be useful for future events if she tried to look at it objectively. Imagine Jonnie Boden scouring through his website for the negative comments and posting them on Insta saying "would you say this to my face Niina from Hong Kong? HUH?" It's ridiculous.
