To wonder how you wipe your bum if you have extremely long false nails?

This is a serious question. I wonder about this every time I see someone with those very long fake nails, especially the pointy ones. I'm always dying to ask, so I'm asking you. Doesn't it hurt?!

I'm not a poo troll - genuinely curious.

They do it the way the Romans did - rag on the end of a stick.

Someone at work until a couple of years ago had such long nails- and an indiscreet work colleague asked about other intimate things!

Given that you know there is a poo troll this is an odd place to ask. I’ve reported as even though you might be genuine, attracting poo trolls seems a bad idea. Anyone posting should bear in mind anyone could be reading. Some odd people like to read about woman’s poo habits. Ewww.

You know what... wiping my backside when I've got my nails done is just like wiping my arse without them ... no problems lol

It's not just wiping your bottom. What about inserting one of those cups that catch menstrual flow, you could end up giving yourself a lobotomy.😕

I've had my nails done like that once and I found it difficult!

A young girl that works for my DH always has humongous false nails on. She can hardly tap her checkout screen, she uses the heel of her hand. I do wonder how she gets anything else done when she struggles to push a button!

I also wonder how people do stuff with hoooj nails.! Maybe they get used to it! I don't think I could.

I used to get fake nails earlier and you lose sensation beyond a point. Couldn't type, do buttons, do clasps etc. Wiping was erm...complicated but ok. I must say that I used 'short' fakes and yet I had such issues!!
Now my nails are long enough that I need no fakes. World of difference

I use a larger wad of paper I suppose. I've not really found it any harder I don't think?!

I do find wiping the squirming babies nose harder with long nails on though

I often wonder the same. I have friends with long nails and they seem to get used to them but I can’t get my head around it. All sorts of things would be difficult surely? Cleaning etc...
