To feel hungover 4 days later?

Posting for traffic!

I went out with colleagues on Friday night, first night out in a long time and got a bit mad with it.

Didn't eat much before hand so expected to feel rough but I'm still feeling awful 4 days on?

I've taken gavison, paracetamol, ibuprofen, drank gallons of water and still feel sick and my head is pounding.

DP has (scarily) suggested that I could have had my drink spiked but surely it wouldn't affect me still 4 days after? Surely a hangover shouldn't still be going either! Also on the pill and just finished period so very unlikely to be PG.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Sad

How are you today OP

narkedwithanarc · 26/05/2018 21:37

@GreatDuckCookery I'm starting to feel a little bit better finally Smile thank you! Haven't bled again but keeping a close eye, still no explanation for that.

I was another one with a lingering hangover that turned out I was pregnant.

My DH gets really bad headaches and hangovers after certain drinks. Back in the early days of our relationship, blue WKD used to make him really ill. I always feel worse after wine.

Oh that's good OP, hopefully you'll be back to normal soon!

Felt better over the weekend and thought that would be me on the mend, but this morning my headache is back in full force, I'm exhausted and I've been oddly shaky Sad felt a bit like I was having a panic attack without the panic. Think I need to go back to GP.

Have you took a pregnancy test OP?
Feel better soon Flowers

narkedwithanarc · 29/05/2018 11:29

@Regingaphalange I took one Friday but it was negative. I hope there's a simple answer for this Sad

So apparently it's all part of the post concussive thing and it may take weeks, even months, to go away Sad definitely steering clear of heavy drinking from now on. Not up for bruising my brain again!!

Ouch - well at least you have an explanation now.
I really hope it's not months though.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 30/05/2018 11:24

Glad you've been checked out again, hope you soon feel better OP.
