So my day started with me putting my knickers on inside out! Didn't realise till I was out.. Wtf.. Its not like I was even rushing or got dressed in the dark

Went shopping, wasn't expecting a thunder storm. So walked with pram.. Had left rain cover in the car tho.. Luckily baby was dry as large hood and parasol was still on, only five min from home.. I had a vest top on.. A white one at that.

Planned to do carbonarra for tea.. Forgot mushrooms. So changed meal to tuna ,sweetcorn and tomatoe pasta.. Just served it and DS said.. Why has our tuna pasta got no tuna in it?

Surely that's my 3 for the day! Lol

Trains. Enough said in that.

Also, was writing a note about the content of a meeting whilst in said meeting.. boss asks ‘are you listening or working on something else?’ I replied ‘sorry, I’m just taking meeting notes to remind myself on’ and she replied ‘I don’t think you need to take notes’... ok then! I felt about an inch tall Sad

Combine that with being cut out of a meeting by her that I should be going to really and you’ve got yourself one of those pissflapping days!

Forgot to pack my ballet pumps in my gym bag so had to commute in sweaty trainers, trains in absolute meltdown because of new timetable and so was 90 minutes late and split coffee on the left tit of my pale pink top. What a very Mondayish Monday!

jaseyraex · 21/05/2018 17:23

Went to the post office to post something for next day delivery... forgot to take the thing I wanted to post and didn't realise until I got to the bloody counter!

Brought DS home from nursery in his slippers. Completely forgot to change in to his shoes, luckily it's a nice dry day here and we're only a ten minute walk away.

My casserole dish with dinner in exploded in the oven. Thankfully no one in the kitchen at the time and oven seems to be fine. I've given up and ordered a takeaway.

Took my dog for a walk. She did a poo. I was bending down to pick it up and she yanked on the lead to chase a bird. I toppled over and fell face first into the shite!

Tripped out the back door wearing flip flops, was taking the washing out to hang on the line. Washing was flung far and wide, broken toe, bruised knees and ego!

I drank slightly too much last night, after hosting a really stressful event. DC on a sleepover, so felt like letting my hair down. All it did was make me eat too much white bread, which always makes me feel crap. Now in the gym trying to right the wrong!

Sparklingbrook · 21/05/2018 17:30

Got the patio set, parasol and cushions out from the winter and spent time giving them a quick wipe and setting it all up. Thought we could dine al fresco later.

Then it started pouring with rain. Sad

Went to the tip and there was a queue to get in. People just started abandoning their cars and carrying all their rubbish to the skips. I didn't know what the etiquette was and it all got a bit confusing with people who had finished wedged in between people still emptying their boots.

holycityzoo · 21/05/2018 17:35

Put my jeans on this morning and was just sitting down to put my shoes on when I felt something wriggling.
Jumped up and ripped them off as quick as I could and a huge spider ran out!!

Autocorrect keeps replacing ‘catechins’ with ‘catechism’ - I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve corrected this/attempted to overrule autocorrect. It’s really rather wearing.

DD 20 months was her usual mad self in toddler dance class, she bounds about like a mad thing while all the others all seem to sit demurely in tutus on their mums' laps.

Today she excelled herself by trying to knock everything off the teachers' table, bashing another child with maracas and overenthusiastically 'sharing' a teddy with a newborn.

She got an end of term certificate and I gave myself a shite parent award.
May not go back next term...
