Blown away by the love looks between Meghan and Harry

Never followed their story or cared. Only followed a bit this week because it was all over the news.

The glances between them, like a secret joke . He couldn’t keep his eyes off her. I thought they were gonna laugh out loud at some point at the naptuals. They looked really United.

Some of my favourite moments were :

  • when Harry waited so anxiously, like she won’t turn up
  • the chello
  • the choir

Did not really follow the American preacher as we just wanted things t get on, but I love the spirit and emotions he brought on rather than the regular stiffness.

Wish Meghan mom had a relative or friend with her as she looked a bit lonesome

Choir was on point regarding where we are today with diversity.

It was nice seeing Kate look relaxed and her glances at Camilla were very natural.

PrimalLass · 19/05/2018 17:33

I thought she might be pregnant too. She looks much wider round the waist. I know the dress was loose but she's usually tiny in a pencil skirt.

traciebanbanjo · 19/05/2018 17:36

5 years? Very optermistic. I guess 3.

I do wonder how many children she will have, one or two? Moving back to the us with them would get messy.

cathf · 19/05/2018 18:20

It always amazes me that people who state they are not interested in the Royal family seem to go out if their way to seek out threads about the Royal family Grin What's that all about, then?
Maybe it's the same reason that people who don't read the Daily Mail always appear on threads about articles in the Daily Mail.
They seem to think the whole world cares that they don't care for the Royal family/Daily Mail. We don't
I am republican, but I sought out the thread because it is international news event, Andi wanted to see what MNers thought about it, as I thought there might be some and Ng outrage about something or other.
I was not disappointed. In true MNstyle, posters were getting their knickers in a twist about the lack of car seats for the bridesmaids Grin

You mean Kate? Oh absolutely, she must be pregnant. Meghan!? Oh yes, that must be true. The RF are going to be so utterly delighted after all the farcical antics leading up to this wedding.

The mother looked isolated. So much for family values. Surely surely someone else from that side of her family could have been invited by the duchess? It’s all very peculiar and does not bode well.

Lovestonap · 19/05/2018 18:34

I think she might be already pregnant, that dress was cut ever so slightly more loosely than it could have been.

Thought she and Harry were adorbs!

NotACleverName · 19/05/2018 18:40

Good god, why don’t some of you naysayers have a fucking day off already.

caithuait · 19/05/2018 18:40

I am such a mean spirited cah but boak!

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 19/05/2018 18:41

This thread was started because a poster was taken about by how much she thought Harry and Meghan are in love. It's been spoiled by a few utterly spiteful posters who spout bile on every thread. You're pathetic.

I didn't see the wedding, didn't see the dress or the looks, but I hope they'll be happy together, end of. The posters speculating pregnancy, divorce looming, must have very, very sad and empty lives indeed.

PrimalLass · 19/05/2018 23:11

RoseWhiteTips

I don't really know what you are getting at quoting me. It's clear who I meant.

The Royal Family are hardly paragons of virtue. Which is what makes them interesting IMO.

TeisanLap · 19/05/2018 23:23

ture about her expecting their first child. My guess is she's already pregnant, hence the glances

I don’t think she is pregnant but I do believe the glances showed how happy they are about having children together one day.

GnotherGnu · 20/05/2018 07:27

Tatiana, guess what, I know Sheku Kanneh-Mason's background. But, at 19, there's a quantum difference between winning a minority interest music competition showing on BBC2, even with the success arising from that, and playing at a unique event which will be broadcast the world over.

Dozer · 20/05/2018 07:30

Disgusting comment.

“So much for family values” on the mother of the bride attending alone without extended family: shame on you, primallass

HasAnyoneGotAProblemWithThat · 20/05/2018 07:40

Harry adores her & she looked at him with raw emotion. I don’t care if she’s an actress- if she can pull off that & not mean it she’s the best actress on this planet! So yes to me it seemed real. How awful - they’ve not been married 24 hours & people are already saying it won’t last. No one knows but I’m sure they’ll give it their best shot.

StripySocksAndDocs · 20/05/2018 07:51

There's been a variation of what lip reading experts say he first said. "You look amazing" seems to be agreed, then either:

I'm so lucky
I missed you
I'm shitting it

They both laughed after so take what you want from it. "I missed you" seems strange unless it's an episode of Don't Tell the Bride.

ForalltheSaints · 20/05/2018 08:00

I am sure we will get used to Royals marrying for love and not for a dynastic union.

LakieLady · 20/05/2018 08:03

It always amazes me that people who state they are not interested in the Royal family seem to go out if their way to seek out threads about the Royal family grin What's that all about, then?

I think we're entitled to express an opinion, the same as anyone else!

IsMyUserNameRubbish · 20/05/2018 08:24

I agree @Lakielady I'm not interested in climbing Mount Everest but I can comment on it.

bonnyshide · 20/05/2018 08:45

She's an actress, the knows how to play to the cameras. Which is a good thing considering there are going to be cameras on her for the rest of her life.

I don't doubt they are genuinely in love, he's lucky he found someone who loves being in the spotlight.

Yorkshirebetty · 20/05/2018 08:53

Why do people think they'll divorce? He's absolutely besotted with her, and she's clearly devoted to him. I think they'll have a family and carve a niche. They'll support Charles (who was sweet yesterday) and then William. I thought it was a beautiful day yesterday.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 20/05/2018 08:59

I am crying with laughter at the idea that this is an arranged marriage by the royal family. That when looking around for someone for Harry to marry, they felt the perfect choice would be a divorced American woman. Because that worked out SO well for the monarchy when Edward VIII made that choice.

Honestly. At least try to add a tiny splash of intelligence to all the vitriol!

Helmetbymidnight · 20/05/2018 09:00

I don’t like the royals as an institution and their supporters seem mental to me, but Harry and Meghan looked super sweet yesterday aww and Meghans mother so dignified. I wish them well - in civilian life.

Unfinishedkitchen · 20/05/2018 09:00

When he bit his lip when he looked at her DH and I knew 100% that they’d have sex before going to the reception. The sexual chemistry shined through the tv. They must be at it like rabbits.

LifeBeginsAtGin · 20/05/2018 09:10

'blown away by the love looks'

Bleurgh.

Actress.

Hiding this thread as the title irritates me every time I come on here.

cathf · 20/05/2018 10:19

Of course you are allowed an opinion Lakielady. I am just surprised at the amount of people who purport not to care who actually care about what others think. If you are not interested in climbing Mount Everest, why would you open a thread about climbing Mount Everest?
Also, it's unlikely a thread about climbing Mount Everest would disintegrate into mean and spiteful attacks on real people, which is witnessed in this thread
Posters who disagree with the Royals seen to like to think of themselves of having a superior intellect. The reference to sherpbon this thread is an example of that
But I always think people who disagree with the institution of Monarchy but who can't separate the institution from the actual people must be a bit thick, to be honest.
