She's been on antibiotics since Saturday. Her tonsils are just two lumps of white and yellow, completely closing off the back of her mouth. She can't eat and can only drink by forcing it down and crying. Her tongue is swollen and she can't speak properly.

There's been literally no change in fact if anything it's getting worse.

She has her first exam on Wednesday SadShock

Try Manuka hunny on soft white bread. I suffered with tonsillitis for years before finally having them out.

If she's over 16, gargling aspirin (not swallowing) can really help the pain/inflammation. Alternated with gargling salt water. (If under 16, just the salt water). I presume she's spraying difflam every 2 hours, to help with taking fluids.

I had a terrible throat infection a couple of years ago. I really feel for your dd. Get well soon and good luck for her exams Thanks
