AIBU to ask £50 for my used Citymini buggy?

I really have no idea what’s the going rate, I pulled £50 out of thin air. Anyway — I bought my Citymini buggy four years ago in America as we were living there at the time. I think I paid around $250 but I can’t really recall. Currently a new Citymini that looks like mine costs around £230 — it doesn’t look like much has changed since I got mine. I’m thinking of putting it on our local FB selling page and/or eBay with local pickup.

My buggy has put in lots of miles around New York and London but it’s still in good condition. Nothing is broken and it “drives” beautifully. It’s only been used for one child. The biggest cosmetic issue is that the fabric panels are darkened in some areas, mostly in the middle of the panel. It looks like dirt but I’ve taken it all off and washed it and it didn’t help.

Does anyone know the going rate for a used CItymini? Or can you give a an idea from what I’ve written here? I don’t want to undersell but I want to price it so that it will be bought.

Also do you think it’s better to sell on my local site, or eBay or Gumtree? The local site is reasonably active and I feel like it might have fewer time-wasters, but it’s a much more limited market obviously.

I should I add that this is by far the best buggy I’ve ever used for any of my three DCs. I’m positively evangelical about it. I only regret that I didn’t buy it until my last child. I spent so much more money on other expensive buggies that just weren’t as good (I’m looking at you, Bugaboo and Maclaren.)

Why don't you just search eBay for the same item and see what the going rate is? Or are you hoping to sell it via this post? Confused
