How on earth do you get your glass shower screen clean?

I just can’t get it clean. Tried Ciilit bang, shower shine and even toothpaste as I heard if you smear it on the screen it cleans off to reveal clean and shiny screens. But, no. Any other tips?

Yep lemon juice or half a lemon or vinegar...only thing I can get to work on limescale

A very small amount of neat bleach.

I use a squeegee to scrape off water and soap then I use an e-cloth (J Lewis but available elsewhere) to get rid of any marks. Needs doing regularly.

Viakal works for me. Also a hard water area. My father in law is a farmer my in laws let their screen get terribly scaled up and he got it off with a product called Milk Stone Remover from the farm. It did a cracking job as nothing else would touch it... so if you know a farmer... Grin

Lemon juice on kitchen rolls and 'stick' to the glass the rinse off. Got our previous one in old house sparkling new. Can also try white wine vinegar a la How Clean is Your House tip

Scrub with a scourer. I was also told to use the anti limescale toilet duck and just use a dab of it and it’ll get rid of it.

Whenever the shower is used , we dry it with a towel and that stops it getting too bad

Citric acid granules dissolved in water. Sold in Wikinsons. Gets the kettle descaled, all round the taps. Works wonders.

Big fan of method...I use the shower spray every day (I don’t scrub literally just spray) and then proper clean with the bathroom cleaner once a week. Have been in a new build over a year and the shower still looks completely new

Have just tried the white vinegar and scouring method with a wipe of the microfibre cloth afterwards GrinGinto the poster who recommended that tip worked a treat!!
