what would you do?

she is obviously old enough but it might be damaged - it was loose in a pocket.

Put it in her room. She might need it. Better than leaving her with none. Then stock up and pop some in the bathroom cabinet.

LearnFromThePast · 08/05/2018 09:02

How old is she? If she was over age of consent I would just put it back in her room. But it probably merits a conversation as binning it won’t stop her having sex if that is the issue

LearnFromThePast · 08/05/2018 09:03

X post. I would just pop it back in her room and mention to check it as it may be damaged

Slartybartfast · 08/05/2018 09:03

no just worried about the state of it.
ok, she is over the age of consent.
i will put it in her room

Check that it's not damaged, give it back.

kaytee87 · 08/05/2018 09:03

How old is she?
I wouldn't put back a condom that might be damaged. I'd put a new pack in her room instead.

BeyondParody · 08/05/2018 09:03

If you think there's a chance it might be damaged, I think I'd go with bin and replace, then give her the new pack?

EdgeOf17 · 08/05/2018 09:04

Agree with twohands I remember being mortified when my (usually morally strict) DM gave me some condoms for my first holiday at 19. Turns out it was definitely for the best.

You will earn mutual respect if you support her.

metalmum15 · 08/05/2018 09:05

Can you not just point out its been in the washing machine and it could be damaged so she probably shouldn't use it? Presumably it's not an embarrassing subject for either of you?

Slartybartfast · 08/05/2018 09:06

thanks lovely people.
Thanks

Bobbiepin · 08/05/2018 09:07

I wouldn't give her back a potentially damaged condom. Buy her a new pack and explain. Write it on a post it note if need be.

DuchyDuke · 08/05/2018 09:07

Just give her a box and put it in her room.

Slartybartfast · 08/05/2018 09:09

Thing is last time I raised the subject with her, thinking it was a good thing it made her doubt her relationship with her BF, and no it hadnt gone that far. So I dont want her to think she Must be DTD, oth a found condom in a bag is a sign of something.
I will point out it was found, looks mucky, which it does, and needs replacing.

OP posts:
Beaverhausen · 08/05/2018 09:30

I would go and buy a new box and replace it with the dodgy looking one. Rather have them be safe than sorry.

Furano · 08/05/2018 09:30

I'd say "DD, found this in your pocket - got to be careful they can be damaged really careful once they are out of the packet. I'd rather you didn't use this one just in case, here's a fiver for a new pack"

Allthewaves · 08/05/2018 09:33

Bin it and leave a new box in her room

Slartybartfast · 08/05/2018 09:35

you can get them free from sexual health clinic, i might suggest a visit.

OP posts:
amusedbush · 08/05/2018 09:51

I agree that it should be binned in case it's damaged. It doesn't need to be a Big Deal; you're doing it out of concern for her health, not out of disgust.

TantricTwist · 08/05/2018 09:55

I'm the kind of DM who would put it on her pillow in her room for a reaction. I wouldn't say anything unless DD brought up the subject but just letting her know that I know.

TantricTwist · 08/05/2018 09:57

mind you that fact that it's damaged might mean yes depending on how old she is I would probably like the other posters replace with new ones.

It all depends on their age really.
