Very strange tweet about Chinese phones. This company was apparently blacklisted by the Obama administration DOD (I think it was that department) because of security concerns. I think it is naive in the extreme to back such a venture. In other words, he has either been bribed/his hotels in China threatened with ruin/compromising material of him may be released/all three.

According to this article, because it has 20% capacity in the US, it means that it depends on US governmental approval for foreign investment.
Reportedly, the relevant US body has become stricter in the last year or so, particularly in business with China.

It's interesting that other types of investment or business relationships are being allowed or encouraged.
