AIBU cause I now cannot get the idea out of my head that this bath salt is yucky

I used to love a certain type of bath salt with sea salt... until we discussed it with friends by chance, who said they would never use it, because you never know where they took it from the sea and if it is clean there or yucky and full of dead algae and garbage.

AIBU or are they? Do you know if there are quality standards for bath sal like there are for the normal sea salt people eat?

Erm, yeah, because regulations would really allow a company to sell a bath salt that’s dirty. Of course it’s regulated! It’s processed to an inch of its life before it’s popped into a bag!
