To be so frustrated that it’s sunny and my kids don’t want to go out?

It’s sunny. Kids are fighting. Nobody can agree what to do. DC1 has gone off in a strop and is reading in their room. DC2 is insisting on sitting inside.

I might just sit in the garden and leave them to it. In fact, I think I will.

How old are they? I’d probably leave them to it and sit in the garden too, depending on age.

I remember not enjoying going outside in the sun when I was a teenager. I have no idea why that was. My parents hated it too!

I don't always enjoy the sunshine either! Leave them to it Smile

Sometimes there's nothing better than lounging on the sofa, reading a book with the windows wide open and a warm breeze.

2 of my children want to go out and 1 doesn't.
Garden is out of bounds at the moment while it's being sorted, so I have no choice but to go to the park with the 2 that want to go out.

daisychainer · 05/05/2018 11:56

I’ve made it to the garden. One joined me briefly before declaring it was too hot, the other is still shut in the bedroom

We are all enjoying ourselves in our own way 😀

My mum used to lock us outside. Grin

daisychainer · 05/05/2018 12:58

woman haha, I won’t be doing that. I’d be more inclined to lock myself outside and leave them to whinge where I can’t hear it!

My children hate being out in the sun, I do too, so we all hang around the darkened house like vampires 🧛‍♀️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♀️. My dd hasn't even opened her curtains yet as her window is south facing so the sun just glares through.

justawhisper · 05/05/2018 13:08

don't blame them, i'm inside on mums net and have been reading my book. it's nice!

bigchris · 05/05/2018 13:11

I've just come in from having lunch in the garden, dd , 11 is at the park with a friend but ds 14 is lying in bed with the cat, I wish he'd go out Grin

One in, one out here. I have to admit I don't like being out just in the garden, if I'm relaxing I'd rather be indoors.
