I had an appointment booked for 10 and I didn’t arrive till 10.10.
I rang at 10.05 to say I would be there at 10.05.
She had a massive attitude saying well you know you should be here on time etc we are fully booked
Surely 10 mins wouldn’t harm anyone?

Did you walk in carrying a coffee OP?

I was at the hairdressers last week and a woman turned up late, but she'd managed to server in and buy a takeaway coffee too.

I felt for the poor hairdresser, she was a model of self control when she was probably screaming inside.

YANBU

It's 10 minutes, and while unfortunate, can easily be made up throughout the day.

I think if you are late for an appointment then it us entirely up the person you had the appointment with whether they can fit you in our not

I think mostly people try to fit you in or might offer to dry but not straighten your hair perhaps?

I do not agree with previous posters who sat you should have rung earlier if you were driving unless you have a have a proper hands free kit in your car.
