To marry him when I am so flawed

I don't know where to post this so I'll take the tough route. I've been single for a long time. My relationship history is diabolical. I've never had a conversation with my father and he died a few weeks ago. He was a POW and very dictatorial - not his fault, under the Hitler Youth. My only real relationship was with my absolute first love who left when I was pregnant (planned) and has never had any contact or supported her. She is 20 and amazing. I'm not trying to sound self pitying (I hope) - I own my own home and am ok. But I am marrying someone who is so far removed from my comfort level that I keep pushing him away.

I'm an alcoholic who's been sober for many years and I've just had a relapse.

I don't really know what anyone can say.

I had about three inches at the back and four at the front. It was really long before too. I put a Calpol syringe in the wrong way around in the dark and squirted it into my hair instead of into the baby’s mouth! I was so bloody knackered at the time I just put it in a bun and went back to bed, but it went into a sticky mass I couldn’t get off.

Those pieces are quite good, they clip into hair at the front and cover the back but they’re not heavy so can clip on to quite sparse hair and they go well with a fringe. They come in longer lengths too. I have the mid length one as well and it’s very light.

That's really helpful. Thanks

Aw, you look fab Lobster!!!! I'm not just saying that either, you really do.

Make sure you eat lots of protein and you have good levels of iron. That will help your hair grow from the inside out - if you know what I mean.

You do look great. Very pretty and your hair is nice. I would say you look younger than 48!

I have hair style envy. Love it! Rock the look. I have long hair but so want long, thick front and ridiculously short back. I am not blessed with your bones, sadly, so would look like a carved pumpkin 😝

I tried some new grips recommended by a hairstylist. I always fear them falling out though. Any advice? How do you keep this thing in or do you feel permanently as if it will come out? Does this look better?
