Or maybe Am I being naive?

Thinking ahead to half term and the summer holidays, I am focusing on the fact that we always have fun in playgrounds, parks, beach. Maybe a short camping trip. I think I'm lucky to be at home for most of it with them and I'm hoping for long days playing and relaxing when DC aren't squabbling.

We were poor and miserable as kids but that was because my parents fought a lot about money. Have you got happy memories of this type of summer as a child, or with your own DC? At what age will DC want more? (Legoland, holidays abroad already being mentioned )
