I am fed up with being made to feel like I am a real cow because I buy clothes from Boden, it isn't as if I am stealing the food from a child is it????????

Depends when I have any money. I haven't bought any for about 6 months.

netaporter, yoox.com, gamontheweb, matchesfashion.com, mytights.com

Occasionally M&S on line, debenhams

This is giving a very inaccurate picture of me though... sitting here in tights with a hole in, old skirt and old top.

But we really need my second daughter (20) on here who seems to have an uncanny ability to predict what will be in Vogue before it's in there. When she was 6 she matched clothes well - only little child I know who folded clothes in their drawers and when packing a case and gets really good looks mixed from Top shop, Primark etc... but huge amounts of sports, long hair, pretty, slim 20 is probably more to do with it.

I am so with you on the Crocs. I have just moved to Canada and it seems like every man, woman and child has at least two pairs. I knew there was a reason I hated them and now I know what it is... The Boden connection!

They're for thirty-something yummymummies? Don't tell all my 40-something Boden wearing friends

My dd has tons of mini-boden - because she's tall she's in the top size even though only 10 - I'm starting to worry about what I'll dress her in next year

I wear their T-shirts and cardis but dh wouldn't be seen dead in Johnnie's flowery shapeless (sorry, baggies) clowns trousers.

No 4x4's in my possession, far too gas guzzly, we have much snazzier city-boy style proper cars, we have hung around both Norfolk and Suffolk beaches quite a bit, we don't bray but we are to be spotted on Brittany ferries quite a lot

I'm lovely me , and I wear some Boden, ds's wear lots.
I can't wear their jumpers - far too short in the body and arm for me (5ft10).
DS stuff is lovely though, great quality and wash well.

Don't own 4x4 (MPV though), about to holiday in Bude (first time this year) but would never bray with my northern accent!!!!!

Just got Boden package through. As small boy's towelling hoody looks soooo comfy - got myself one (the women's one - although I can fit into the bigger boy's sizes). OMG put it on and now expect that bloke from 'Look Good Naked' prog to come at me with scissors. Mega frumpy with wings. So its going back (or else I could wear it to frighten the kids at school ...). Also, how do they justify £45 for a pair of men's bathers??? There obviously is someone mad enough to pay that (my hubby = man from Primark, Tesco and M&S gets touchy at paying more than £10 for a shirt!).

you can rent beach huts through pinewoods campsite (wells next the sea) not as posh as holkham by a long way.

i hate it when you see whole families in it. blurgh.

My God, there's a lot of withdrawn messages on here!

I don't wear Boden because it is too expensive. I'm not bitter though...

The clothes are a bit dull though, aren't they?

I've got a few bits of pieces of Boden in my wardrobe, largely used for camouflage purposes at the DDs' poncey prep school. Recently I've found all that "snappy" stuff particularly wearying and have been strangely drawn to buying clothes from The White Company which is, if such a thing were possible, even smugger and more hopelessly aspirational than Boden but in a more pilates-and-highlights way. Although it's generally not as stupidly expensive.

They certainly aren't horrible but they certainly do have more money than sense!

Agree that the clothes are very bland and rather twee.

Personally have switched allegiance to Fat Face (sale only) and Joules. Just bored with Boden now. Always same old same old, slightly vanilla items- a few nice things that sell out at full price and loads of not very nice stuff in the sale tat disappears in about 2 days and reappears more expensive on Ebay.

I possess some Boden garments. They all show my norks. This is IMO a Good Thing.
