AIBU - should I complain to this company about dirty top sent to me?

Ordered a gorgeous white top in the sale of a well known clothing company. I was so looking forward to receiving it, but when it arrived, I opened the package to discover my white top was smeared everywhere with dark orange makeup. On closer inspection, there were also small holes in the delicate fabric. I complained and asked if a replacement could be sent out. They couldn't have been less interested in the problem and didn't apologise once. Surely this top shouldn't have been sent out to me in the first place? The makeup stains are obvious!
I'm not normally one to complain, but it was the sheer disinterested attitude of the lady on the phone, and the fact she didn't apologise and repeated over anemic over again the top is no longer available.
As someone who never complains and just accepts things, is it reasonable to complain in this case?

You complained and they are (I assume) refunding you. Do you now want to complain that they didn’t apologise?

Well a refund or replacement would be suitable

Are you getting either a refund or a replacement? If no, then complain. If yes, then I can't see that an apology is going to make much of a difference.

As long as you are getting your money back, they is nothing more they can do.

It is understandable that you are disappointed about the top but they aren't going to make you one just because you complain.

It was just their attitude and complete lack of interest..they didn't say sorry once and that's what is making me a bit pissed of. That, and the fact they shouldn't have sent the top to me in that state in the first place. I am sending it to a special address for a refund though, I'd rather have the top of course but at least I'm getting my money back
