And would you always change them straight after a night of, erm, bed-activities.

Asking for a friend...

Change weekly here. But only wear in bed. Don’t do any lounging around in them

happymummy12345 · 30/04/2018 15:42

I can't stand wearing anything in bed, a pair of knickers during my pill free week is bad enough for me.

BitOutOfPractice · 30/04/2018 15:42

I don't wear them in bed. I wear them round the house, maybe twice / three times for an evening

MrsPreston11 · 30/04/2018 15:43

Every couple of days. Or after “bed activities”

I put them on after activities so any remaining activity doesn’t get on the bed. As I only do the every beds once a week.

Same for my husband. Neither of us wear underwear to bed.

mazdaz25 · 30/04/2018 15:46

So for all you people that change PJ's daily- do you also change your bed linen daily too?!
Seems a bit pointless if not!

abigailsnan · 30/04/2018 16:15

I change mine about 3/4 times a week certainly after bedroom romps and then I change the bedding at the same time.

Seafoodeatit · 30/04/2018 17:16

@abigailsnan you change your bedding 3/4 times a week? surely not??? that's bonkers!

I don't wear pyjamas during activities, rarely put them back on. I change my pyjamas every 2 days that they've been worn.

BodgingThisMumThing · 30/04/2018 17:56

I wear my pjs when I get home from work or during the day looking after my 6 month old and we aren’t going anywhere (I know I’m gross for not wearing “real” clothes) but sleep naked. So only wear them for a couple hours each night, probably change every couple of days but that’s because I launch them in the wash basket and don’t fold and put away again Grin

herecomesthsun · 30/04/2018 19:26

pants and camisole

tonsil · 30/04/2018 19:32

I change mine twice a night, sheets are changed the same.

Smellyjo · 30/04/2018 19:56

Tonsil you change your pjs and sheets twice a night? ShockShockShock

celticprincess · 30/04/2018 20:01

Weekly. Maybe twice if it’s been especially hot or I’ve lounged round the house on them when I’ve got up. I’m a cold person and wrap up in bed. Just me. I wear knickers. Had the same discussion about kids. I make them wear knickers and encourage them to wear pyjamas more than once but they don’t like it, they like clean every day but they have plenty so not an issue. I also don’t get them dressed until after breakfast so any food dropped onto clothing means they go in the wash rather than mess it clean clothes before 8am!! Share care with their dad and his partner has told them they don’t need to wear knickers. Can’t win. They do at mine. They often end up naked in bed anyway, lol.

GladAllOver · 30/04/2018 20:11

I haven't owned pj's for years.
Getting dressed for bed just seems odd.

tonsil · 30/04/2018 20:31

Yes @Smellyjo I set an alarm especially. Either that or I change my pjs every 3-4 nights, you decide Grin

Smellyjo · 30/04/2018 21:18

Grin I thought you won the prize for the most obsessively clean person on the thread for a minute Grin

Twoo · 30/04/2018 22:32

Every couple of nights and especially after bedtime aerobics Grin

FASH84 · 30/04/2018 22:38

Every 2-3 days but tend to wear nightshirts, the button through kind, like a soft cotton man's shirt, no pants, in summer strappy nighties no pants, can't bear a sweaty betty, don't tend to put nightwear back on after dtd.

Racheyg · 30/04/2018 22:38

Every second day. I would every night if I had enough pairs

FASH84 · 30/04/2018 22:45

Probably TMI but I stopped wearing pants to bed after changing pill a few years ago which led to a three month bout of recurrent thrush due to hormonal changes, that ended up needing nuclear medical treatment, Dr strongly advised no one should wear pants to bed due to them providing a warm moist environment, which bacteria and yeast love 🤮. Also wash pants on the highest wash they can take without falling apart or get a specific anti bac detergent !

Puffycat · 30/04/2018 22:48

Sorry no help, always sleep in buff

bluebellsparklypants · 30/04/2018 22:52

Me and kids daily here too

speakout · 01/05/2018 06:13

Clean pair every night. I am sweaty in bed.

bananafish81 · 02/05/2018 21:02

Clean sleep knickers every night
Clean PJ top every night
Clean socks every night
Clean PJ bottoms every couple of days

(though they don't get particularly dirty as I've got pants on underneath)

I put clean knickers on after activities (with a pantliner) and then PJ bottoms - which may or may not be fresh on

Doubletrouble99 · 02/05/2018 21:43

Wear a long tee shirt/nightie and put a fresh one on every night.

BrazzleDazzleDay · 02/05/2018 21:50

Everyday, though I only really wear pjs to bed a couple times a year. Wear them everyday in the house though.
