What price range are you hoping for?

And what do you see as central? A short hop out, in the direction you go, might ncrrase possibilties

Lostforagoodname · 29/04/2018 12:44

What’s central. I know of lots, but central London is bloody big

NameChangeTimeNow · 29/04/2018 13:04

Thanks trollopolis and Lost - anywhere within Zone 1 would be great, please :)

In terms of budget, I was thinking between £25 to £30 for the manicure and pedicures together, if that’s possible :)

I don’t think that’s possible in London without a groupon voucher!
Even the little Vietnamese places are 15-20 for a mani and more for a pedi.

NameChangeTimeNow · 29/04/2018 13:13

I can see I need to rethink my budget a bit! Grin

For a budget of £40 to £50 for both, do you know of any places around Zone 1 please?

Come a few stops north of Zone 1 into Kentish Town and go to Tips 'n Toes - near the station.
£30 for manicure and pedicure.
I won't go anywhere else.

Very popular! Book, not cheap cheap, but not expensive for zone 1
Though Kilburn is super easy to get to.
If you’re not from London, sometimes it’s easier to get to a zone 2-3 rather than somewhere else in zone 1 depending on what is your nearest tube line

Fluffyears · 29/04/2018 13:26

Cheap nails aren’t nice, nice nails aren’t cheap i’m afraid.

Lostforagoodname · 29/04/2018 13:33

Um! @Fluffyears
That’s bollocks
Most of the high prices are due to rents and locations. I’ve had Mayfair nails, at £80
I’ve had nails at £20 - never noticed much difference. Just the experience.
I recently had my brows done in Mayfair, it was an eye watering £60 for threading, my brows are fucked, and I thought it would be a lot better. It was not. They wore fancier outfits and probably pay 300k for rent. That’s about it!

UsernameTaken2 · 29/04/2018 13:33

Lost where in Kilburn do you recommend please?

Lostforagoodname · 29/04/2018 13:37

Just for nails
Kilburn high rd.

Fluffyears · 29/04/2018 13:54

The greater salons sometimes use cheaper products (not designed for nails) therefore it’s worth checking that they use nsi and correct products. That costs more!

okay so hear me out… Trieu Nails. i wandered in after work once and honestly? life changing 😂 the girls there are insanely nice (like hype-women-level nice), the vibe is all cozy and chill, and i swear my gel x tips came out looking so good i kept wiggling my fingers at strangers just to show off. prices are solid, not “sketchy cheap,” but totally worth every penny. trust me, you’ll walk out feeling like the main character 💅✨

had a wedding to attend in london and panicked because my nails looked tragic 😅 found Trieu Nails London last minute and wow… lifesavers! super friendly techs and they made my nails look classy and polished just in time 💅 highly recommend!

i’d recommend trieu nails london 💅 it’s in east london but super easy to get to from central. prices are reasonable for the quality you get, and the service is honestly top notch. i went in for a mani-pedi and left feeling so pampered—the team is really friendly and detail-oriented. definitely worth checking out if you want something that feels a little luxe without breaking the bank

Isabellabella · 24/09/2025 11:52

omg! you’ve got to try trieu nails london they’re in east london and honestly, i had the best experience there. it was my first time visiting and i’m already sure i’ll be going back. finally found my go-to spot to take care of my nails
