I notice they also have a swish new police station! I’ve never ever heard them mention Wethersfield police station before just around the corner. I suppose it makes sense when you think of the high crime rate in Corrie

I haven't watched it for probably 20 years but I've literally just realised that Roy's Rolls is Rolls Royce backwards because I misread the title of the thread

I was also shocked by the blatant product placement - full view of several cups in lots of scenes in what seems like ever episode

No, Roys Rolls will be fine . Everyone in The Street will walk through their perfectly well equipped kitchen to buy a cup of tea.
Like they do in Eastenders going to Kathy's
Like they do in Emmerdale going to Bob's Cafe

I blank out coffee cups as not relevant in real life, and I can do the same for Corrie, But I found the sight of the Co-op deeply, deeply troubling.
