It'll be a subway next I tell you!

Maybe Carla will think of something to keep it ticking over nicely now she doesn't own the factory.

Queenoftheblitz · 27/04/2018 22:25

Do Costa do barm cakes?

Charlie97 · 27/04/2018 22:26

I hope so Toad!

Don't think Corrie has ever done such blatant advertising!

I was quite shocked.

Explains where all the costa takeaway cups have been coming from Grin

Charlie97 · 27/04/2018 22:27

Queen...good question!

KnittinKitten · 27/04/2018 22:36

I notice they also have a swish new police station! I’ve never ever heard them mention Wethersfield police station before just around the corner. I suppose it makes sense when you think of the high crime rate in Corrie Grin

PaddysMarket · 27/04/2018 22:49

Hopefully the Co-op will make Dev go bust and he'll move away.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 27/04/2018 22:51

KnittinKitten the only place in the UK where a police station OPENS

Charlie97 · 27/04/2018 22:51

@PaddysMarket, I also spotted the Co Op! Where's fresco now?

Returnofthesmileybar · 27/04/2018 22:52

The factory girls will keep it open with their cake run, you won't find an eccels cake in Costa!

mancmummy1414 · 27/04/2018 22:53

Well they will all be getting the tram from the brand new met stop to bigger and better cafes... bye Roy!

Knittingteapot · 27/04/2018 22:53

I haven't watched it for probably 20 years but I've literally just realised that Roy's Rolls is Rolls Royce backwards because I misread the title of the thread

w12newmum · 27/04/2018 22:55

I was also shocked by the blatant product placement - full view of several cups in lots of scenes in what seems like ever episode Hmm

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 27/04/2018 23:04

No, Roys Rolls will be fine . Everyone in The Street will walk through their perfectly well equipped kitchen to buy a cup of tea.
Like they do in Eastenders going to Kathy's
Like they do in Emmerdale going to Bob's Cafe

Grin
Charlie97 · 27/04/2018 23:07

@70isaLimitNotaTarget, thank you, I can now sleep easy!

I blank out coffee cups as not relevant in real life, and I can do the same for Corrie, But I found the sight of the Co-op deeply, deeply troubling.

Queenoftheblitz · 27/04/2018 23:23

We can't say goodbye to an iced finger!

KnittinKitten · 28/04/2018 01:50

the only place in the UK where a police station OPENS

Yes! Good point! Grin funding for NHS and policing in Weatherfield must be ringfenced from the rest of the country!

Yorkshirebetty · 28/04/2018 06:02

We can only hope that the new Co-op will put Dev out of business @PaddysMarket! Sadly, he still has the kebab shop and the chippy, so he won't leave.
Zeedan's restaurant is huge and appears to be subterranean. Most odd.
