Aibu to ask you to reassure me it's not "orbs" on the baby monitor

Yep I am definitely being U but we've just got a video baby monitor and when it's on night vision I keep seeing little balls flying all over in different directions some fast some slow.

Is there an explanation or am I best off moving house?! (I seriously will have to if there's no explanation it's scaring me big style!!!)

There is a reasonable explanation but I can't remember what it is. Dust or static or something.

Anyway it's normal.

It's really common on infra-red type cameras. They're caused by things like flies and dust etc catching the light. Mine used to do it all the time!

It absolutely is dust or tiny mites reflecting. Totally normal.

I thought I'd be obsessed with watching my little boy on it but I hate even looking at it, it's quite freaky!
Sorry to post something that's been done to death then but I needed the reassurance!

So depending on how you feel about insects OP be reassured that it's just lots of 'tiny mites' and not paranormal activity

I'm not sure what's worse!!
