AIBU to wish someone would look after me for a day

I’ve had an operation. No biggy. But feeling very sore and sorry for myself.

DH at work so drop off and pick up of DC is down to me.

Off work for the day, but had several calls, text messages and a “crisis” to deal with (some colleagues are amazing but some not so).

Considering I spend my whole life nurturing everyone else at home and at work, is it too much to expect to have one day with someone looking after me, with no interruptions?

Feeling very alone today.

Do I need to just man up? AIBU?

Why didn't your DH take the day off? Or at least go in late after drop off?
