To ask what color your kitchen is?

We are planning to redecorate the kitchen in a month or so. However, we are stuck with the kitchen counters! Painting the unit doors may be a possibility.

Any ideas for paint colors? As bright as possible? Our appliances are mismatched anyway- we have a silver fridge freezer ans white washer/cooker.

Can I just say thanks to saucy jack, I was going to replace all my worktops but this dc fix stuff looks like a much cheaper option. Great idea.

Our kitchen walls are painted in Dulux Chic Shadow, a lovely soft grey. Our friend loved it so much that they have bought it for their kitchen.

Saucy Jack.... Thank you! DC Fix is truly fantastic and come payday I'm off to B&M Bargains! Never seen it before.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 24/04/2018 19:32

Our top cupboards are deep blue gloss, base units are matte grey, splahback is very pale grey. We have a feature wall in Stonewashed Denim’ and the others are Goosedown.

Would I be completely mad to go for white gloss units and teal walls? Well, more like turquoise?

We’ve moved into a place with oak effect cabinets that I really don’t love - but painting the wall a deep F&B blue just makes the whole room lovely instead of meh

SaucyJack · 24/04/2018 20:26

You're welcome dudes :-)

Just don't go all Blue Peter, and get carried away with it. No one wants to see a polka dot toilet seat.

Bearwithverylittlebrain · 24/04/2018 20:42

Ours is farrow and ball - think the grey was called moles breath or something similar. I love my kitchen, especially the sparkly granite worktops.

I was looking at toilet seats earlier today.
Sure there was polka dot ones.

Our kitchen area is pale blue units, white tiles and plum coloured wallpaper

Bellalou · 24/01/2020 19:04

Anybody put in a navy blue kitchen and regretted it?
Looks fab in the showroom, but wondering if it might be too dark.
Kitchen is light oak at the moment and very bright.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 24/01/2020 19:09

Our top cupboards are darkish blue gloss and base units are grey matte. The worktop is white quartz with grey sparkles. We have a dark blue wall and the rest are very pale grey. It’s an open plan large room.
