Dh at work this morning so I got indoor chores out of the way so we could sit outside in the sunshine later.
He comes home at 12, gets out the lawnmower. Then the strimmer. Then the jet-washer. Now it’s the leaf-sucker. It’s all so LOUD I might as well be sitting by the fast lane of the M1. He’s so busy I feel I need to be too, but I’ve given up and hidden indoors away from the din. Just checked the weather forecast and it’s going to tip it down in an hour.
Now that the patio is clean would I be unreasonable to dig it up and bury him under it?

I feel your pain. The net door but one neighbours are building a loft conversion. Every day for the past two months we've had construction noise from 8am. Today is no different. They've been using some petrol motor driven thing and what sounds like a jack hammer as well as power saw, drill etc. I feel like death from the side effects of tablets I take and would just like to sit and feel sorry for myself in peace.
