Losing weight

I’m finally losing weight, 26 stone down to 23 so far. BMI out of the super morbidly obese and into the morbidly obese category. Seems a queer thing to celebrate but it’s a step in the right direction. My hormones are going fucking wild. 2 week long heavy period, extreme mood swings. AIBU to be shocked at my body’s reaction? Any similar experiences?
