After my work colleague has basically just thrown away some yummy Coconut and Raisin WB due to incorrect temp milk, I am shocked how they and apparently other fellow colleagues eat their Weetabix Wink Shock

So m'netters...how do you eat yours....with Hot milk or Cold milk?

Ill tell you my preference later lol

(And no, i'm not a journo!)

Cold

Warm milk is disgusting IMO (the exception being hot chocolate).

TroysMammy · 17/04/2018 16:42

Hot milk and a bit of sugar.

I also don't get that some people eat it with yogurt and fruit. Something not quite right with them imo.

Jupiter15 · 17/04/2018 16:59

I have it microwaved so very hot milk and weetabix or with very cold milk. No in betweens.

WaxOnFeckOff · 17/04/2018 16:59

I don't eat it much anymore - though this thread has given me the notion... - but I like it either depending on mood/weather/time etc.

Jojoanna · 17/04/2018 17:01

Very hot or very cold ,,

BananaMilkshake13 · 17/04/2018 17:03

HOT! Have never eaten cold and wouldn't even cross my mind to do so....

HighwayDragon1 · 17/04/2018 17:06

Hot water and sugar. No milk, that's disgusting Envy

OhHowardOhMarina · 17/04/2018 17:10

Always cold! And I eat them fast as I don’t like them soggy.

Fabulouslyrich · 17/04/2018 17:11

When I used to eat it, it was always with cold milk and sugar.

Kaykay06 · 17/04/2018 17:12

Microwaved, and sometimes cold depends on my mood really

ScreamingValenta · 17/04/2018 17:14

Hot, hot, hot! Grin

marymoosmum · 17/04/2018 17:15

I like mine with hot milk.

Pompom42 · 17/04/2018 17:16

Hot milk and a little sugar. To me though it's only a Winter breakfast, is never eat it in Summer

Coffeeisnecessary · 17/04/2018 17:20

I saw a teenager eating a weetabix just dry out of the packet at the airport recently. Biting it like it was a chocolate bar. I couldn't look away!!

samarkand · 17/04/2018 17:21

We are a cold milk and sugar family. Sadly, I can no longer eat weetabix because I am gluten free.

ExFIL used to eat it with hot boiling water Shock DC have never quite recovered from the horror of being expected to eat that unappetising concoction.

EnglishRose13 · 17/04/2018 17:23

Cold with sugar. Not much milk either as I like a bit of crunch.

clearingaspaceforthecat · 17/04/2018 17:25

Ok, has been a while (20 years or so...)
2 weetabix, cold milk, lots of sugar to form a crusty top.
Allow to soak up milk until soft.
Press back of spoon onto weetabix until bowl of spoon fills with sugary milk. Slurp and repeat until weetabix has no 'spare milk'.
Eat gloopy remains.

BringMeCoffeePlease · 17/04/2018 17:26

Cold milk! I've never had it with hot milk in my life and I'm shocked that this is the norm for so many of you, wtf?

BeyondThePage · 17/04/2018 17:29

Either - (and strangely for MN) - I don't really care which.

EggysMom · 17/04/2018 17:30

Can be hot milk. Can be cold milk. Can even be with butter and no milk.

SusanWalker · 17/04/2018 17:41

Either and with demarara sugar for the crunch. I was 12 when I realised people ate shreddies with cold milk. I had only ever had them with hot. I eat those either way now too.

BringMeCoffeePlease · 17/04/2018 17:43

Butter?!?!

Fontella · 17/04/2018 17:46

Haven't eaten then for years but I like both. hot milk in Winter, cold in Summer .. and this thread has reminded me to go and buy some Weetabix.

When I used to eat them for breakfast I always remember I never used to feel hungry mid-morning but could go right through until lunchtime.
Most breakfasts I end up snacking before lunch.

Yep, definitely gonna buy me some Weetabix again!

Andrewofgg · 17/04/2018 17:56

Cold, but not straight from the fridge. I generally wake up and take a piss about four a.m. and take the milk out then.

Not that I am fussy . . .

toffee1000 · 17/04/2018 17:59

Never had it with hot milk. I could never be bothered to heat the milk.
But I haven’t eaten any for ages.
