To think the parents of Stephen Lawrence

Are far better people than I could ever be. Just seen his dad on the news and he was so gracious and dignified. He has found it in his heart to forgive the murderers , I don't know how, but it has brought him some peace.

And aibu to think that his murderers are absolute scum for whom I would be willing to believe in hell if it meant they would spend eternity there.

YANBU. The family of Stephen Lawrence have always been wonderful people .

Yanbu at all. I say that as someone who lives very locally to where he died, and every time I go past on the bus I think of him and his lovely family. Absolute tragic loss of life

They are amazing people, so awful that they lost their child in such a brutal fashion - not to mention the appalling treatment they received in the aftermath of his death. I am a teacher and I have taught so many young people about Stephen and his family and I feel it’s one of the most important things I do.
