So after the negative deleted thread just watched some Liverpool ladies on the TV at Aintree who looked bloody lovely.

Hair nails tan dresses and of course hats all gorgeous. Good on them and very glam.

Of course the fail will be there to take the piss as they hate all women especially ordinary women but stuff them.

You look great ladies have fun

It’s a thigh and about an inch of arse cheek. Let go of your pearls. See more on the beach.

ilovesooty · 14/04/2018 00:28

Some people just never learn
Apparently. Hmm

greenlanes · 14/04/2018 00:31

Jacinta wtf ??

I've had a lovely few days in Liverpool with my DC - we did all sorts.

But I have never came across snobbery like yours.

Loved the city, can't wait to return.

JacintaJones · 14/04/2018 00:34

The beach!

Its a racecourse in Liverpool, pissing down and freezing cold.

Why on earth would you flash your thighs/arse to a journo?

Oh yes so you can get in the paper and people can laugh at you, either openly or under a thin veneer of condescension.

noeffingidea · 14/04/2018 00:36

They know they will be photographed, ridiculed, and held up as examples of all WC women north of Birmingham, yet they still do it
I know, great isn't it! I love to see people who don't give a single fuck about what other people think.
I'm sick to the back teeth of it
My heart bleeds for you.

JacintaJones · 14/04/2018 00:37

Saw so many lovely glamorous women of all ages in our hotel. I was awestruck by the heels and how they all coped with the dreadful weather,. It has been very wet and windy. They were all having the most magnificent time.

Of course that isn't patronising in the slightest.

Silly me Hmm

Starryskiesinthesky · 14/04/2018 00:40

The pictures i saw looked terrible.

greenlanes · 14/04/2018 00:44

Wow jacinta you are a bitch. I have been in frumpy comfortable shoes and wet weather gear all week. Liverpool has been wet and cold. My DC has moaned all week. Yet Thursday and Friday we have seen women dressed in high heels and lovely dresses ( please note not inappropriate or sexually explicit etc). The hotel we stayed in offered afternoon teas and champagne breakfasts. These women were having fun. There is nothing patronising about me observing that, I used to go to the horse races in the USA when I was a lot younger. I don't go anymore. I go to the opera instead. Now if you want to get on your hobby horse about patronising and snobby etc that might be a good route for you.

JacintaJones · 14/04/2018 00:51

I know I'm a being a bitch.
That goes without saying, however evetuthing which I have pointed out is absolutely true.

They look a mess.
They are click fodder and lots of them don't behave very well (see arse/thigh pic)

It doesn't make me snobby to ridicule poor behaviour.

Furthermore I'd rather be honest, albeit a bitch than a mealy mouthed, virtue signalling, patronising woman.

Enjoy your Opera. Incidentally I almost named my DD Carmen 😊

Mydoghatesthebath · 14/04/2018 00:54

Biggest bite was the new money post. Both jacinta and Rose we’re outraged.

Says it all bless them. Clearly they are both new money and desperate to appear they have somehow ‘made it’ and equally desperate to as Scarlett o hara says ‘brush trash off your coat tails’ it’s ok both noone will out you as common here all friends. Relax no one cares loves

That’s not opera by the way jacinta

I've stated many, many times thst I am working class.

You don't like that another member of your social class is laughing at you and so you are desperate to recategorise me.

I haven't 'made it' anywhere. Nor do I wish to.

Oh I missed that thread, I was busy rolling eyes at the "most brides look shitty in their wedding dresses" one. Is it a full moon tonight or something? Lot of howling & miaowing going on here and there.

LassWiADelicateAir · 14/04/2018 02:09

The media are equally culpable but 'Ladies day' is just an annual excuse the [ sic ]malign those of us who are northern WC by presenting the worst of us as representative of all of us

To all the other northern working class posters here I am not assuming that Jacinta, with her snobbery and rudeness, is representative of any northern working class women other than herself.

halfwitpicker · 14/04/2018 02:17

Well this descended into total bollocks pretty quick.

There's always one (or two)

MistressDeeCee · 14/04/2018 04:12

The lower working class go to Ladies day.
They also go to Town of a weekend but the Fail aren't there to capture their images

Is there an Upper Working Class then?😂

"It's go to town AT the weekend, not OF the weekend.

If there is an UWC then it appears you aren't a member. Even if you are letting your crass Hyacinth B out

Well..you did say you've not "made it" anywhere...

PompholyxOfUnknownOrigin · 14/04/2018 07:14

The photographs in the Echo show a very different view of how the women at Aintree were dressed. It’s almost as if the Daily Malign picked out a selection that would portray women at the event in a certain way.

Note I said different, not better. Or worse. So not “judging”. I know which pictures I’d prefer to look like myself though.

AllNamesTakenhell · 14/04/2018 07:25

So long as they are confident and happy, who cares. You cant count how many pictures i have pulled out of myself- especially younger- and thought 'oh hell no' but i was happy and confident and that radiates the photo.

Different people have different styles.

JacquesHammer · 14/04/2018 07:34

@Jacinta I think you’re own insecurity is an issue.

Who actually thinks that “all Northern women” dress in the same way? What does it matter if Mr Bloggs reading the Daily Mail thinks all Northern women dress that way?!

Dress how you want.

I’m a Northern woman and I do - goth/rocker but I’m not worried that some chap in Watford thinks I must wear fake tan Grin

falang · 14/04/2018 07:39

I go to ladies day. I think I look great. I probably don't. When I'm there it's great fun to look at what everyone else is wearing. Some look good, some don't but everyone has made an effort, outfits may have been months in planning, and people have taken ages to get ready. But I'd never tell anyone I think they look terrible. And that's the way it should be on here. Because there are links to the pictures being discussed it's clear who is being criticised and that's not nice. Being a bitch is nothing to be proud of.

mimibunz · 14/04/2018 08:01

So glad I’m middle class. And wear twin sets and pearls. And have a power bob that needs a trim. And keep my cellulite thighs on the down low.

JacintaJones · 14/04/2018 08:26

Is there an upper working class?😂

Why shouldn't there be, wholly irrespective of who is included in it?

And they do go to 'Town of a weekend.'
Ask them.

Dobbythesockelf · 14/04/2018 08:27

And here I was thinking that women should be allowed to wear whatever they want without judgement or ridicule.
Would I wear some of the outfits, no I wouldn't not because they are awful etc but because it really is my idea of hell. Heels, make up etc is not my scene. Do I judge someone who does dress like that-no cause I'm not a bitch that thinks that your style has anything to do with who you are as a person. I'm a northern working class woman btw if that has any standing on my opinion.
I would say it's much less classy to judge people on their dress sense than it is to show some thigh.

JacintaJones · 14/04/2018 08:29

Alas I'm just Working class.

As I've stated umpteen times I have no desire to be otherwise quite apart from my lack of shit taste.
