So after the negative deleted thread just watched some Liverpool ladies on the TV at Aintree who looked bloody lovely.

Hair nails tan dresses and of course hats all gorgeous. Good on them and very glam.

Of course the fail will be there to take the piss as they hate all women especially ordinary women but stuff them.

You look great ladies have fun

I know it is considered very bad form to point out grammatical errors on MN so I won't single out individual posts, but if you are going to post sneering comments about "lower class" etc it might be prudent to run the posts through a grammar checker first.

I love this hat.

Is grammatical proficiency postively correlated with socioeconomic class Lass?

I like that hat too as it happens.

There are outliers you know...

JacintaJones · 13/04/2018 23:46

She ruined that outfit with the bag, didn't she?

Fruitcorner123 · 13/04/2018 23:47

RoseWhiteTips

Yes the one in the middle looks a bit silly

There are outliers you know...

Leave them alone. If you dont want to go, don't go. If you dont want to read about them, don't read about them.

You gain nothing from judging them and womankind loses

JacintaJones · 13/04/2018 23:52

Oh behave yourself.

Womankind doesn't lose.

WC women lose every year when these people trip up at Aintree supposedly 'representing' us.

The media are equally culpable but 'Ladies day' is just an annual excuse the malign those of us who are northern WC by presenting the worst of us as representative of all of us.

I'm sick to the back teeth of it.

Fruitcorner123 · 14/04/2018 00:00

I thint the media are wholly culpable. They could find plenty of events in the south where women behave like this. It's a free country and women are allowed to behave like this. Men have been behaving like this for centuries without negative publicity.

So blame the media not the women.

halfwitpicker · 14/04/2018 00:01

Anyone seen that handbag: 'j'a dior '

Grin
halfwitpicker · 14/04/2018 00:05

Some lovely dresses in the Echo article.

Shame it rained.

RoseWhiteTips · 14/04/2018 00:07

A pun. Clever!

JacintaJones · 14/04/2018 00:07

Of course they are allowed to behave and/or dress in this way.
This isn't a question of legality.

Still I can't say that they look nice.
I can't agree that they aren't willingly making themselves the objects of the media's jokes year after year.

Its the wanton stupidity that riles me tbh.

They know they will be photographed, ridiculed and held up as examples of all WC women north of Birmingham, yet they still do it.

RoseWhiteTips · 14/04/2018 00:07

The handbag.

RoseWhiteTips · 14/04/2018 00:09

Spot on, Jacinta.

Fruitcorner123 · 14/04/2018 00:10

They know they will be photographed, ridiculed and held up as examples of all WC women north of Birmingham, yet they still do it.

That's one hell of a burden to put on them. Maybe they don't feel its their responsibility to represent the whole WC female population of the North of England. Maybe they just want a fun day out.

JacintaJones · 14/04/2018 00:10

Maybe they should just dress well.

Mydoghatesthebath · 14/04/2018 00:14

Why don’t you both get that massive stick out your arses and as Fruit says have fun.

It must be exhausting to be so judgemental

The woman in the middle of that photo looks like she would be great craic on any day or night out. Can’t beat a sense of humour.

As an aside, Rose whatever the fuck its called has to be one of the most unpleasant trolls currently residing under the MN bridge. Why it is still here is beyond me.

The Daily Mail is the only national newspaper with a majority female readership (source : The Independent).

The Mail is not stupid. It knows what its audience wants, so it publishes these pictures of women so that its target readership, ie other women, can judge, criticise, laugh at and bitch about them.

Who is more to blame, the Mail or the women who read it?

greenlanes · 14/04/2018 00:23

Just arrived back down south from Liverpool, having had an amazing few days visit to that city for the very first time. Saw so many lovely glamorous women of all ages in our hotel. I was awestruck by the heels and how they all coped with the dreadful weather,. It has been very wet and windy. They were all having the most magnificent time. Saw many well dressed men around the city, mostly heading in groups into pubs and bars. It seemed liked a really important occasion to many (not to me, I don't like racing) and so many had made a big effort, what a shame someone was being snobby. No need.

JacintaJones · 14/04/2018 00:25

Both of them.
Plus the click fodder stupidly posing for the journos with their arses hanging out.

Mydoghatesthebath · 14/04/2018 00:25

Hit a raw jealous nerve there jacinta?
