AIBU to ask for your help please? This is a bit of a cheeky request, but I would be really grateful if anyone on here could give me a hand :)

I’m looking for a place to rent in London, and haven’t found anything so far (have looked on SpareRoom, Zoopla and RightMove).

Ideally, I’d love to rent a room in a flat that’s around 30 to 35 minutes’ commute from the Westminster area and around £650 to £700 per month maximum (in rent and bills, if possible).

I’ve had a look at fifteen to twenty properties so far in different areas of London, but haven’t found anything so far unfortunately.

Please could you do your best Kirsty and Phil impressions and help me out, Mumsnetters? :)

Thanks so much!!

Mile end, Stratford, Leyton, Leytonstone - all within 30-35 mins to Westminster on the tube and you'd definitely get a room for less than £600

Seven sisters is 30 minutes from Westminster and would have plenty of places within budget.

When you say you have had a look at so many places and haven't found anything, what do you mean? Is it that you have seen places within budget and they aren't nice enough? Unfortunately with your budget in London you won't be able to get anything swanky. Rent is very expensive here!

Canada Water - 15 mins to Westminster and £700 is about the going rate for a decent flatshare
