eBay - being held to ransom over feedback

Ok so it’s only a few pounds but irritating none the less.

I ordered an item - say a phone cover in red, they sent me blue. I don’t want a blue one so contacted to resolve, I was ignored. I left bad feedback and they’re now telling me they won’t refund or replace unless I change my feedback. This hAs gone back and forth for a week, so I think my bad feedback is justified.

I’m happy to send the wrong one back but have not been taken up on this.

AIBU to think that should fix this, regardless of feedback?

This particular item was listed as in the U.K. but I didn’t notice the seller was in China

Yet another violation I'm afraid ... not that I'd expect anything to be done about it

Another I've noticed is for sellers to list fake "tracking numbers", presumably in the hope ebay will decline to refund sellers because the item's delivery can be "proved". I believe they're supposed to request that proof before refusing, but whether they do this - especially with the big commission-earners - is anyone's guess

Though to be fair it's possible for an overseas seller to have a distribution centre in the UK ...

eBay isn't the best for dealing with problems.

We sold a phone and said it came with the charger but nothing else.

Once it had sold the buyer sent us messages demanding extras to go with it, including headphones and a car charger.

We told him he wasn't getting any extras and he threatened to track us down.

He was the latest in a long line of problems we've had as buyers and as sellers.

We've just stopped using eBay now, it's not worth it.

True puzzled, I’m not convinced that was the case though given the markings on the package.
