If I'm pregnant. Currently 7 weeks pregnant.

Do I state on application in pregnancy or wait for an interview and would this affect my chances.

Just a quick question Samantha would you employ someone who was pregnant to fulfil any role in your company?

Do you expect men to let you know whether their partners or wives are early on in any pregnancy? I ask as aren't they now eligible to claim shared mat leave once they have been working at your company for 26 weeks? As men can reproduce much later, this means you would have to now look at an even wider age range with beady eyed suspicion. Oh the affront of that 65 year old man not to mention that his wife was 3 months pregnant. Must manage him out of the business ASAP.

OP I wouldn't say anything at this stage. I would say something once I was offered the role. I would judge their reaction and if anything like the attitude of Samantha I would not take the role. I would not want to work for such individuals or company and give them the benefit of my skills and experience.
