Hello,
I have suffered from migraines for the last 18 months but in the past five weeks I have been very ill to the point of being bedridden and in a great deal of pain. Also my bodies responses have been haywire (low sugar responses to eating, heart palpitations, restless sleep). Anyway..I still am having some of those problems but I wanted to share some of the things that have been helping me.
- Angus Cactus ( relived breast tenderness within 24 hours and as a side benefit increased a non existent libido).
- Ionic magnesium liquid (tastes vile) before bed has helped me sleep ...ah restful sleep where I wake up feeling like I am recovering...
- G-plans - this is an app that I have to pay for but it plans my meals and snacks. I seriously had lost my way with eating before I was sick. Mainly portion sizes. This is helping me to stick to whole foods in proper quantities and drink lots and lots of water.
- I went horseriding today for the first time in 25 years and it was brilliant. To remember what I loved to do before 'should, ought, must and I have do', I had to look at what I chose to do when I was a child. I used to love horses.
Then I went and did it..and it literally was like water to my soul. What did you used to love to do when you were young?
- You can buy Kefir for £1.25 for a litre in the Polish section at Tesco which is a fraction of the price in Waitrose. (Gut health related)
- I went for a cranial osteopathy appointment and the practitioner was so gentle and it released a lot of tension from my body. I highly recommend it.
- I also went to the Healing Room in my local town and that was a very special time where I felt inner things were being addressed.
So there you go, some of my discoveries may help someone.
Any other things that people have found that might help someone else recover? ......
