To find floral tributes being left for Harry Vincent offensive

This is an attempt to intimidate the innocent family. Flowers should be removed - isn’t it littering?

OP posts:
Mydoghatesthebath · 10/04/2018 20:18

I think Still has posted honestly here.

Her personal feelings are hers but professionally she has to abide by the law.

Is there no other way to remove the flowers Still because if I was the fence owner I wouldn’t be phoning 101 I would be petrified?

WowLookAtYou · 10/04/2018 20:18

Youre still being dramatic. And making this thread all about you

No, she isn't!

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2018 20:19

She is!

stillvicarinatutu · 10/04/2018 20:19

whisky come and join me for a 10 hour night shift . it would be great for you.

WowLookAtYou · 10/04/2018 20:20

Whisky, How about you lay off Vicar? You're being unnecessarily unpleasant. That "single-crew" comment wasn't a boast, but a statement of fact.

TSSDNCOP · 10/04/2018 20:22

You surely, surely don’t think 3 police horses in a suburban street is the right way to go when the police were there the entire time?

That fence will be pulled down or alight by midnight the way this situation is unfolding.

Mydoghatesthebath · 10/04/2018 20:23

Agree I feel very angry about this but see stillvicar has posted honestly it’s not as easy as tearing down these disgusting tributes.

She’s not making the thread about her she’s s mumsnetters and a police officer who posted to offer her insight

WowLookAtYou · 10/04/2018 20:25

Exactly. There were a lot of people saying, "but the police should DO something," so it was relevant and useful for her to put their position across.

Numbkinnuts · 10/04/2018 20:25

Love the armchair cops on this thread.

Police horses ( and their riders 😁) are a resource to be used whatever the circumstances. Yes they are usually seen in public order situations but they are a resource.

This area is covered by Met police who are somewhat under the cosh at the moment.

stillvicarinatutu · 10/04/2018 20:26

i really want whisky to come and do a 10 hour night with me - it would be enlightening.

im fine being single crewed but we are meant to be double crewed after 9pm. doesnt always happen.

id love her to come for a ride along. one shift. 10 hours.

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2018 20:26

Why do you keep asking me to come along with you? Its weird. As if i have no idea what police do? Ffs. This flower thread has abosolutely nothing to do with your riding lonesome and doing 10 hour shifts. Move on or get some sleep.
It was a boast; everything vicar says is. She even said it herself "a damn good one too" pah!

Yeh, yeh thats like someone sayjng "im a kind person"... if you really are, you dont need to say it. But here she is wailing all over the thread about how we just dont understad her, whats its like to police, what its like to do a 10 hour night shift. Its like we havent even lived! Hmm

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2018 20:27

What the fuck? And another invite. Very weird indeed

Birdsgottafly · 10/04/2018 20:28

Wowlookatyou, I think you've taken that the wrong way.

I live in an area that the Police struggle to control. I know how these situations have to be handled.

My comment was to a poster who implied that the Police were being dramatic.

It's not unusual to use Police Horses, was my point, they are used outside of nightclubs, general crowd control etc. They can often make people think twice about throwing missiles, because whilst some people don't give a shit about Police, they do about Horses.

stillvicarinatutu · 10/04/2018 20:28

whisky if you thing were so shit come and see for yourself. im offering you that. its a thing in my force now - we do ride alongs.

stillvicarinatutu · 10/04/2018 20:29

thanks to you guys who remember me. x

Tinycitrus · 10/04/2018 20:31

You are being very unfair Whisky.

I would not like to face what police officers face every day and even worse have to deal with it on my own. There’s always the possibility that you will be hurt and police officers are people like the rest of us - they have children and partners who love them.

plominoagain · 10/04/2018 20:31

Vicar , I’ll come out with you Grin

I suspect the only reason the horses are out is because the stables are at Lewisham , and it’s a resource to use .

numptynuts · 10/04/2018 20:31

the local residents themselves have said they feel threatened, intimated and that the burglars family are being aggressive in their actions. That should suffice.

Exactly. The residents don't want his friends and family near them, their loved ones and property either. They live there. Their opinions matter!

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2018 20:32

I dont think all the police are shit. I think you are dramatic and weirdly all over the thread seeking out some police loving validation. I remember you on a previous thread and you were just as dramatic then too. I cant be dealing with you and your dramatics.

TSSDNCOP · 10/04/2018 20:35

It’s highly fucking unusual to see police horses in Hither Green on a Tuesday afternoon. For evidence: I’ve lived there.

The police are indeed under the cosh.

EXCEPT there’s a photo of a police outside the bloody house opposite the bloody fence!!!!

Mydoghatesthebath · 10/04/2018 20:35

Whisky

That’s spectacularly unfair. I have no idea what police officers can and can’t do and why would I or you? We are not police officers. Come on I think you need to cut her some slack.

The bad guy here is the scum bag bugler and his hideous family not the police

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2018 20:35

Im not being unfair. I know fine well what happens. But vicar always fucking pops up on threads spouting about being the police and how joe public have no clue what goes on like we are all fucking idiots. I didnt choose to be. She did, she should suck it up.

stillvicarinatutu · 10/04/2018 20:36

plom ! hi!
id happily take anyone . what we do needs to be seem, i could ragale you with last nights tale....

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2018 20:36

No, she is not the police on this thread. She too is Joe Bloggs on here.

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2018 20:37

Oh god, please dont. You'd just want to be called a hero.
