To leave DS in his cot bed, even though he's not asleep, just because its nap time?

He's not crying, he naps 1-3 and he went to bed later today, 1.45. He hasn't been to sleep yet, he's just whining a bit.

I don't car if IABU really, I need the break!

Well, she's in full time foundation now so it's not all that bad.

DD hasn't had a 'proper' nap since 1.5yrs but will still lie on her bed / our bed / sofa and just 'chat' to herself quietly for up to an hour.
So either the ironing or dusting gets done or Mummy just lies on the other sofa and does the same!!!
