Was just shopping in H&M, was fairly busy but not in the older boys section. Well I’m trying to look and one 9/10 year old boy comes zooming round not once but 4 times. He almost knocked me into one of the stands. I looked over to where he came from and the Mum was there all head in the clouds, she saw my face as sometimes it’s hard to hide I am pissed off. She just says ‘ can you come over here and try this on please’ he says no I don’t want too. So she says okay. I just carried on browsing he comes flying around again this time knocking some stuff down, she says can you pick that up please, he says I can but I don’t want too, picks up a tshirt he apparently liked and they both walk off without picking the other stuff from the floor.
AIBU to think
- At that age they should have grown out of the phase of messing around like that.
- The Mum should have either made him pick it up or picked it up herself instead of just leaving it for the poor shop staff.
I’m quite aware that kids mess around especially when they are bored but I thought it was a bit extreme he was running around in circles by himself.
Maybe it’s because I myself work in a shop so it irritates me more.
It does piss me off when mums are Ignorant to the fact thier children are being a pain in the ass. My kids are no angels but they never run around shops, sometimes are a bit loud but never disruptive to other customers.
