I love having this conversation with colleagues and I'm always really intrigued by answers.

For me it would be the Spira. They were just beautiful.

I love reading through Wiki for old crisp flavours and stuff like that. I don't get out much as you can tell Grin

I bought some of that ice cream topping that goes hard the other week from the Waitrose reduced basket but forgot to shake it before I used it and a load of liquid ran out if the bottle. It had probably sat in the shop ages and not been sold and separated.

YearOfYouRemember · 05/04/2018 20:10

Pacers!

Cheesesteak · 05/04/2018 20:10

Cheesy snaps!!

Crumbelina · 05/04/2018 20:10

Leigha, my local Sainsburys still sells various flavours of Dweebs (in the world foods aisle in the USA foods section).

Bambamber · 05/04/2018 20:11

Worcester sauce twiglets

WiddlinDiddling · 05/04/2018 20:11

Smiths Chipsticks - Ready Salted flavour.

Nik Naks - cheesey flavour (I know that crunchy cheetos are the same thing but not available widely and often massively overpriced).

Pacers, Spiras, some weird little fruity sweet that came in square boxes you could click together like lego. The boxes smelled of sweets for YEARS after the sweets were all gone (mmm chemical flavours).

Tinysarah1985 · 05/04/2018 20:12

Does anyone remember when they brought all the different skips flavours out? Chinese spare rib flavour was lovely

YearOfYouRemember · 05/04/2018 20:13

And the M&S cheese and chutney sandwich.

marateach · 05/04/2018 20:13

Fox’s echo chocolate 🍫 used to buy them in the school canteen!

squarecorners · 05/04/2018 20:14

Totally agree on the spira, but I would probably sell DS to the circus if it meant Twinings would bring back lavender Earl grey tea.

DS would fucking love to run away with the circus so I don't even feel bad about that as a swap.

PinkSea · 05/04/2018 20:14

Oh god @Tinysarah1985 yes! They did a disgusting doughnut flavour!

Saucery · 05/04/2018 20:15

M&S Whisp yoghurts

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 05/04/2018 20:17

M&S used to make these baked potato with butter flavoured crisps that were little potatoey shards of heaven. Not the ridgey ones they have now, they were round and flat. And delicious.

boringbertha · 05/04/2018 20:23

Runmummy yes there was a huge craze at my Bedfordshire middle school in 1980 for rise n shine we all bought our little sachets in with our packed lunches to mix with the water on the tables.

Does anyone remember Golden Lemonade?? not sure if it was made by a particular brewery in our area as my mum and dad used to buy it from the little off licence that was attached to the village pub. It was like nectar of the Gods!

checkingforballoons · 05/04/2018 20:23

I’ve thought of another - Mega Truffle ice creams. Like a chunky Magnum with a stodgy, chocolatey, truffley bit in the middle. Mmmm.

willothewisp17 · 05/04/2018 20:24

Pot noodle 'posh noodle'

willothewisp17 · 05/04/2018 20:25

And marks and spencers used to do the most amazing prawn spring rolls!

maddiemostmerry · 05/04/2018 20:26

So many lovely things here. Am now hungry for toffos's, pacers, tunes and ready salted chipsticks.
I remember lurid ET biscuits and iced sports biscuits.
Terry's Neapolitan chocolates and Cadbury Fuse bars.
Safeway used to sell farmyard crisps which were bacon flavoured animal shapes.
Brunchies which were a frozen sausage and egg mix in breadcrumbs.
M&S herby sausages

Hightidewetfeet · 05/04/2018 20:28

Itscolderoutside, Thank you! I loved Olde English spangles too but nobody else remembers them and look at me as if I'm losing the plot.

BootsMagoots · 05/04/2018 20:29

My mum used to buy us Michelina microwave meals after swimming when we were kids. They were quick, easy and delicious. Can't get them anywhere now but they were so tasty.

My friend just said Fuse bars.

My husband is too overwhelmed to answer haha.

RawhideRingpiece · 05/04/2018 20:40

Nutty bars.
