I love having this conversation with colleagues and I'm always really intrigued by answers.

For me it would be the Spira. They were just beautiful.

I love reading through Wiki for old crisp flavours and stuff like that. I don't get out much as you can tell Grin

@OwlinaTree yes they were lush. Hollow in the middle? And chive / onion flavoured. I think you can still get them but it’s been a while.

mrwalkensir · 05/04/2018 19:53

Butter Osborne biscuits - seem to remember them as thicker but lighter than rich tea, with a really lovely flavour

amysaurus87 · 05/04/2018 19:53

I second mars delights and Cadbury dream!

@BootsMagoots I remember Astros!! I loved these, was talking to someone about them the other day and they thought I'd made them up!

I also miss Champion (the boiled mushroom shaped sweet)

kierenthecommunity · 05/04/2018 19:53

I'm sure they used to do a chipstick dairylea dunker which was lush. I only see bread stick ones now

They did, they were fab. And Philadelphia did a short lived version that had a secondary dip, such as mini rice cakes and sweet chilli sauce, or nachos with salsa. I used to eat them on night shifts.

Gutted they binned chocolate Philadelphia too Angry

You can still get them in Lidl (Space Radars)

They still sell them just sadly not those two flavours Sad

Rumbletumblethump · 05/04/2018 19:55

Froofro yogurts.

Drainedandconfused · 05/04/2018 19:59

@AuntieStella
They sell Vesta dried meals in Poundland, their curries were my hangover food when I was late teens. Tried a curry a couple of months ago and it was bloody lovely.
Findus crispy pancakes, always had them with chips and peas for tea on a Friday followed by a choc ice.

Itscolderoutside · 05/04/2018 19:59

Lovely (frozen chocolate desserts).
Lemon and lime swirly mousses.
In fact the entire contents of Bejam circa 1975 Smile

RingtheBells · 05/04/2018 20:00

Hmm, I tried to buy a Greens Carmella mix at both Asda and Waitrose and couldn’t, I hope they haven’t disappeared

Spirals were amazing - I didn’t drink coffee when they existed and now I can never dunk one in an espresso :(

Itscolderoutside · 05/04/2018 20:03

Olde English Spangles.....strange but delicious and aged 10, I thought I was eating the same sweets as the Tudors!

OwlinaTree · 05/04/2018 20:04

Do you remember that ice cream topping that went solid when you poured it on the ice cream? It was chocolate flavour, then they did chocolate and mint/orange/toffee. Probably full of all sorts but lovely!

RunMummyRun68 · 05/04/2018 20:04

RunMummyRun68 · 05/04/2018 20:05

Definitely Secret chocolate bar. And does anybody remember Dairy Milk Sandwiches?

Crumbelina · 05/04/2018 20:05

Ooh, ooh, Tubes! Like Square Crisps, but, erm, tube shaped. So lovely and salty and would probably have a fraction of the salt in them now. Grin
