AIBU to have extreme reactions to radio djs

Some I love and will listen without ever turning off: Shaun Keaveney, Cerys Matthews, Craig Charles, Jeremy Vine
But some I absolutely cannot stand: Steve Wright, Mary Ann Hobbs, Chris Evans... and will run across rooms, vaulting children just to switch them off, screaming OH NO YOU DON'T!
Doesn't happen with tv presenters!
Anyone else?

And the archers.. can not stand that music!

My boss has the office radio on Magic, and every early shift I have to listen to Ronan bloody Keating. Can't stand him, can't change the station, and I can't seem to tune him out. Every time he talks it blasts through my mental defences and I have to hear the shite he spouts.

Whenever I'm driving in the evenings and mark Wright's fucking club classics come on I have to grit my teeth through his voice as it goes through me but the music is generally decent!

Liza tarbuck and frank skinner both have voices which make me dive to the off button.

Smug Stephen Mulhern and the morning presenters on Heart. DH listens to radio and I try not to. As soon as he's out the door in the morning I get peace and quiet!

I don't find their jokes or 'games' funny, they misrepresent things to make terrible jokes.

Elaine Paige and that cartoon throaty chuckle she does. 😖

Jeremy fucking Vine - I hate him so so so much, he's awful. I would jump out of a moving car to avoid listening to him!

The radio 4 puzzle for the day is my signal to flick over or go and fetch laundry. Anything to miss it.

And may I just say...how many people actually like show tunes that much that she needs a prime weekend slot to churn them out on. Fuck sake.

@Judashascomeintosomemoney DH plays it on the Google home. She never listens to me like Alexa does. She says she's turning it off but she doesn't!

Zoe Ball seems to have gone all Liza Tarbuck. Nauseating.

I find Keaveney and Cerys extremely irritating actually but the one who really makes me want to scream NO NO NO is Ken bloody Bruce. I like Popmaster but the pain of listening to his fake chummy burbling is too much!

Leona Graham on absolute radio drives me nuts. Her voice is so annoying!

Pictish has hit the jackpot, Elaine Paige and that laugh aaargh! Jeremy vine and Chris Evans don't do anything for me either.

I love show tunes and dont really have a problem with Elaine Paige because I can block out her mindless drivel but OH.MY.GOD. the laugh!

I hate it beyond all measure and it makes me feel sick when I hear it.

Most of them I can't stand. In fact I'm struggling to think of any I do actually like.

I can't stand the partnership on lots of stations which seems to be 'not that funny male DJ who is all uo for banter and a ditzy female sidekick who is often the butt of the jokes and has to giggle and fawn over not funny DJ'

Maybe that's just my local radio stations but it winds me up

Chris Evans - used to quite like him until I watched a behind the scenes documentary. All of his 'jokes' and adlibs etc were scripted by someone else!
Love Sara Cox and her 80s programme on Friday nights!

It (the laugh) makes me feel a bit funny actually...like a disproportionate wave of physical revulsion passes over me, albeit very temporarily. I have to switch her off in case I hear it again.

I imagine it’s how people with misophonia feel when they hear people chewing or whatever.
